ROTARY OCEANIA MEDICAL AID FOR CHILDREN
(ROMAC)
The ROMAC program brings children up to 15 years of age, from developing countries to Australia to treat diseases and/or injuries with dignity-restoring surgical procedures which are not available in their own countries, and to:
- provide hope where there is no hope
- restore human dignity to human life
- transform a child's life
- provide the best medical and surgical expertise
- provide an opportunity to mend the broken lives of young people from developing countries
- engage Rotary at a District, National and International level
These medical processes can hopefully be repeated many times to benefit not just a selected few, but ultimately become available to many through the expansion of ROMAC's ideals throughout the world.
